Benson is best known for her breakthrough role as Hanna Marin on the hit TV show Pretty Little Liars. Her modelling career began when she was photographed for dance catalogues at five years old. At eight years old she was signed to The Ford Modeling Agency, where she received her biggest campaign with Guess. She is now renowned as an actress, but still has been featured on magazine covers such as Teen Vogue and Cosmopolitan.

Before Robert Pattinson graced the big screen as vampire heartthrob Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga, he began his career as a child model at 12 years old. He said his modelling career occurred because he had an androgynous look, which made him popular. As an adult he has scored multiple Dior campaigns, one in 2013 and another in 2016. In 2009 she was scouted by Sarah Doukas who had previously scouted Kate Moss.
